California Baptist College studying a Fine Arts degree with a Music minor. While there he started and led the Chapel
Worship Team and the Thursday Night Live Bible Study.

Music
has always been a major part of his life, especially as his mom was a high school choir teacher. He started playing guitar
when he was a senior in high school, so he could lead music at his church youth group in San Diego, and has been playing ever
since. Over the course of his life he was been learning from and loving the musical influences of artists like U2, Miles Davis, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Tommy Walker,
Phil Keaggy, Michael Jackson, Dave Matthews band and The Brand New Heavies. After graduating from college, he
also began working with Youth for Christ as the Riverside area Campus Life director. Officially named a member of Switchfoot
on May 4th 2005.
